Imagine being poor with children in a private school in a few years if they wanted to get rid of it because the public schools were “fixed” and they told you that your kid could only continue in private school if he/she had the money to. Band-aid solutions are horrible in politics (since they become permanent).

But with public schools (especially in the states) being the way they are, shouldn’t some kids get the opportunity to go to a private school while the public system is fixed? Now, I know this is a theoretical question, because the public system isn’t getting fixed, but still…
