He actually brought up the response to Katrina as an example of the direction the country should be going -- while channeling Palin's fruit-fly remarks against "volcano monitoring" (which <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/02/25/jindal.volcanoes/index.html?iref=mpstoryview" rel="nofollow">cheesed off the mayor of Vancouver</a>, naturally). When the <i>National Review</i> (the US's National Post) says "He should never be allowed near a teleprompter again!", something's up.
