Democracy has been our liberator, and we need more of it, not less. In the past 100 years, through the power of democracy, the standard of living of the average Briton has increased beyond recognition.

Before dismantling our system of democracy that took thousands of years and millions of lives to achieve, let’s look at how we can make better use of it. If we discard democracy, or lose it through disuse, we might never get it back again.
