Don’t want to vote Conservative?

The current outlook for Alberta is likely another blue sweep, but in Edmonton there’s a chance to change that.

[Chaldeans] Mensah [political scientist at Grant MacEwan College] pegged the Edmonton Centre and Edmonton-Mill Woods-Beaumont ridings as areas where Liberal candidates might have a chance to upset the Tory incumbents. The Edmonton East and Edmonton-Strathcona ridings are areas where the NDP have a shot to win seats, he said.

The key to unseating the incumbents in this city is to not let the opposition parties split the votes. In Strathcona (my riding), the Conservative got in with around 40% of the vote, if people can unite behind one candidate he can lose.
