Text Scamming
Bell and Telus, after deciding that they weren't making enough (hint Telus made $400 million profit last year), have decided to start charging 15c per incoming text message to all customers (not currently on any texting plans). This immediately screams foul when you consider the number of unsolicited spam text messages, and how those are now going to cost people money.
The NDP has started a petition to stop these unfair cash grabs, sign now and show your support.
